Two cottages, probably originally 3, of 2 builds. Mid - late C18 to right,
early - mid C19 to left. Limestone ashlar and pantile roof to left, hammer-
dressed limestone and French tile roof to right. Left cottage: 2 storeys, 2
first-floor windows. Central 4-panel door beneath divided overlight. 4-
pane sashes beneath stone lintels throughout. Sprocketed eaves. Right end
and ridge stacks. Right cottage: 2 storeys, 5 first-floor windows. To
left: half-glazed door with 4-pane sash to left and casement to right. To
right: board door beneath divided overlight with two 6-pane sashes to left
and one to right. First floor: 2-light Yorkshire sash and casement to left,
6-pane sashes to right. The configuration of windows and a straight joint
above the right door suggest that this cottage was formerly divided into 2.
End and ridge stacks. The left cottage is included for group value.
