Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18, extended mid-C19 with later additions
and alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble, slate roofs. L-plan
with original short range extended in C19. 2 storeys; main range has
2 mid-C19 cast-iron casements to right of boarded door to left, ground-
floor openings all with segmental stone heads; range at right-angles to
left has 3 late C20 casements below eaves and mid-C19 casements to left
and right of central boarded door, ground-floor openings with yellow
brick segmental heads; prominent stone ridge stack with moulded brick
capping to left of main range and integral end stack with C19 brick
shaft to left of projecting range. Stone outshut to rear of main range.
Interior: main ground-floor room (kitchen) chamfered spine beam and
heavy joists and partly infilled inglenook fireplace, plank doors to
outshut and oak winder staircase; timber framed cross wall (square
panels) with room to right, which also has timber framed spine partition
wall.
