Tomb recess or Easter sepulchre with shallow arch beneath triangular hood mould. Perhaps associated with a chantry established in 1301. A C18 headstone has been relocated here, inscribed -Here lyeth the reamains of Richard Bruin Senior and ?Georgina his wife. Aged 112 years in January the 21 AD 1771. Then Abraham gave up the ghost and died in A good old age an old man and full of years and was gathered to his people. Genesis 25.8-. (Photo Mar 2008).
