Pair of lime kilns. Probably late C18. Coursed sandstone rubble with
brick arches. Openings face roughly south-west out of hillside. South-
west elevation has two semi-circular headed arches about seven feet high
each with projecting sandstone keystones, beneath wall about 25 feet high
which returns into hillside at the top of which is a circular shaft.
Interior has two flues, one to each inner corner leading up to the shaft.
The lime kilns are in the grounds of Whitfield (qv) which is in Treville CP.
