Cottage. C17 origin, with mid-late C18 alterations. Minor early C19
disturbance of brickwork to window and door surrounds. Red brick, English
bond, and narrow C18 local gault brick. Original roof now covered with
asbestos. Axial ridge stack with rendered base and C19 brick to upper
courses. Rendered parapet gable and end stack to south end. One storey and
attic. One flat roof dormer has small pane horizontal sliding sashes. Two
early C19 twelve pane hung sashes with the brickwork to the surrounds rebuilt
probably when the windows were inserted. The doorway has a C19 door of six
raised and fielded panels. At the north end there is a straight joint and the
brickwork is slightly proud of the face of the wall. The brickwork is narrow,
C18, and of English bond. There is a three-light small pane horizontal
sliding sash in cambered arch. C19 doorway and arch and flush panelled door.
The north end gable has tumbled brickwork.
