Four photos joined together - unable to get far enough away to include all of house in one photo. House lived in by Lechmere family from early 1600s until around 1940. There has been a building on the site since the 10th century. Remains of a medieval tower (former ice house?) can be found in the grounds. Photo taken mis 1990s when I lived there.
