House. Mid-C17 with mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with rendered infill
on sandstone base and machine-tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned roughly
east/west; large external rubble chimney with offsets, detached brick stack
and circular bread oven at east end. Single storey and attic with dormers.
Framing: three rows of panels from sill to wall-plate, queen-post truss
partly visible at east end. South front elevation: windows are all C20 case-
ments, ground floor windows have plank weatherings. There are two 3-light
windows and two single-light windows on the ground floor, a single-light
window at eaves level and two large C20 gabled dormers with 3-light windows.
The central entrance has a C20 door. Lean-to rubble outshut at rear.
