Early C18. Painted brick. Tiled roof with gabled ends. Heavy moulded eaves cornice
with dentils. 2 storeys, attic and cellar. 3 windows. Narrow sashes with modern
glazing, flat brick arches, plus 1 blocked window. Brick band between floors.
Fine shell door hood resting on shaped brackets, and fielded panel door in moulded
doorcase to right of centre. 2 pedimented dormers with dentilled cornices. Interior:
room with C18 bolection-moulded panelling of unusual character; flanking fireplace
are fluted Ionic pilasters. Ceiling has oval panel at centre. RCHM (48).
Nos 34 to 60 (even) and Nos 64 to 74 (even) form a group.
