Farmhouse. C17 with mid-C19 alterations and C20 repairs. Timber-frame
with painted brick and rendered infill, tile roof. L-plan with limbs
extending to north and west, main stack at jucntion with four linked diamond-
plan shafts of C19; stair turret on south front. South front: gabled cross-
wing to right of two storeys with gable-lit attic, tiled weathering to first
and ground floor; 5-light slightly projecting oriels to each floor; to left
of cross-wing the gabled stair turret of two storeys with an entrance to
left corner and a window to each floor; to left of turret two storeys, each
lit by a 2-light casement. Framing: six square panels high to cross-wing,
south gable: two collars with multiple struts, a pair of curved raking
struts in apex; other range and stair turret, four square panels high.
