School and school master's house. c.1880. By A. Vernon. Red brick with random
flared headers in Flemish bond; plum brick bands and capping to buttresses;
plain-tile and fish-scale tile bands to complex roof with ornamental ridge
tiles; various brick stacks. Complex plan. House of single storey and attic;
2-window range. Plank door with overlight to left of centre. Bell-turret to left
with pyramidal roof and weathervane. Wood mullion and transom windows, except
slit windows to turret. Single-storey, 5-window classroom range at right-angles
to rear. Wood mullion and transom windows to all openings. Interiors not
inspected.
