30.3.66 attached railings.

Pair of houses. Early-mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, Welsh slate roof.
3 storeys with half basement; 3-bay symmetrical facade. Four nosed stone
steps to central 4-panel doors with plain overlights flanked by basement and
ground-floor canted-bay windows having nosed sills to sashes of 2, 4 and 2
panes. lst-floor balcony with original iron balustrade ornamented by
honeysuckle motifs; blind central window flanked by French windows beneath
cambered brick arches. 2nd floor: projecting sills to later casements set
beneath eaves, blind central window. Brick end stacks, that on right cement-
rendered. Simple iron railings enclose the wells in front of the basement
windows and rise as handrails to the doorways. C20 additions to rear not of
special interest.
