Public House, c.1725, but much altered. Hammer-dressed stone, partly rendered, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys on sloping site. The 2 left-band bays have been entirely
altered with segmental bay windows to ground floor with doorway in original position
between. The right hand bays retain chamfered surrounds to windows with scars of
mullions lost. 4 stacks to ridge. Some quoins between third and fourth bay and also
at rear. Inside at the left-hand end, is a fireplace with segmental arch, and 'IN
1725' inscribed on the lintel.
