6/99 Biggin Farm Cottage

House. C17 with alterations. Thinly-rendered sandstone rubble with quoins and
boulder plinth;asbestos-tiled roof with rendered gable coping at right; yellow
brick end chimneys. 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays. Central flushed door under
flat stone lintel; late C19 sashes with renewed sills and wood lintels, those
on first floor at eaves; left first-floor-window paired with rendered mullion.

Interior: massive chamfered beams; C18 cupboards under single side flight of
stairs at rear of right room; first-floor right room has timber-studded screen
to rear passage.

Roof of curved principals on tie beams.

Rear C20 addition not of interest.
