Detached dwelling. Datestone 'ca 1790'. Sandstone rubble to half-hipped slate
roof, stone stack left. 2½ storeys, 2-windowed, 12-pane sashes under solid stone
lintels marked up with voussoirs continuing as 'ears' beyond the openings, central
9-pane casement replaces former door, now C20 in side entry. In left gable two
small square windows at first and second floor. A modest building, but a good unit
in a group with Castle View (qv) adjoining and the Castle (qv) opposite.
