WOOLASTON GENERAL ST 59 NE 10/270 Monument to Stevens family in the churchyard c 11 metres north of the central bay of the nave to the Church of St Andrew GV II Obelisk tomb. Mid C19. Sandstone or possibly cast stone. A tapered square shaft on base, with flat segmental moulded capping carrying a draped urn on a square base, the whole contained in iron spear-head railed enclosure with corner standards with small urn finials. Inscriptions on sunk panels to Stevens family, the earliest being James Stevens, 1861. Total height of monument c 2.75 metres. The lack of visible joints and sharp detail suggests that this may be executed in some form of cast stone.
