Garden wall extending 48 metres north from the gatehouse and
courtyard range

Garden wall. C16. Red brick in English bond. Aligned N-S, abutting at the S end-on the N wing of the entrance range. Height approximately 3m. Recorded in a plan of 1566 and a map by the John Walkers, father and son, 1605, as forming the W boundary of a garden, as it still does.
