Westgate Cottage

GV II

House. C18 with early C19 alterations. Painted brick with
stucco facade; hipped tile roof. Right angle plan. Tudor
style. 2 storeys. Top cornice. Windows have chamfered reveals
and label moulds; triple sashes with pointed heads.
Cross-axial stack. Left return has short wing connecting with
Westgate House (qv) with similar C20 window; right return has
varied casement windows including pegged cross-casement;
shallow ground floor projection with 2 late C19 bay windows.
Rear gable with 16-pane sash.
