GV II

Two houses, now shop and office. Mid to late C18. Brick with
ashlar dressings; tile roof. Georgian style. 2 storeys;
2-window range, left half breaks forward under hipped
roof.Plain timber parapet to left, cornice and high
stone-coped brick parapet to right. Late C19 shop front to
left has glazed tiles to pilaster strips with bulls' heads
supporting cornice with rich iron cresting, C20 glazing and
entrances to right. Upper windows to left are segmental-headed
with tripartite sashes, that to 2nd floor with sill. Upper
windows to right have wedge lintels with keys, over 16-pane
sash to 1st floor, 8-pane sash to 2nd floor.
