Town house, now flats. Early to mid C19. Brick; slate roof
with brick end and rear stacks. Georgian style. 2 storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range. Wide eaves with slender brackets
to gutter. Round-headed entrance has doorcase with fluted
pilasters and bracketed open pediment, fanlight with radial
glazing bars over 6-fielded-panel door. Ground floor has
windows with sills and 16-pane sashes; 1st floor has 2 later
C19 canted oriels with aprons, bracketed cornices, 2:4:2-pane
horned sashes flanking window with sill, and segmental head
over C20 top-hung casement replacing blind window. Much
altered lower side wing has segmental-headed window with
9-pane sash and entry to right. Rear has been altered. Part of
the early C19 development of the northern part of Stratford,
known as New Town.
