Building of early C19 appearance, classical shape and Greek revival detail. 2-storey
centre of one wide bay and set back one-storey side wings. Coursed freestone
with ashlar rusticated quoins and dressings. Wide flat stone window mullions.
Wide entrance archway has square columns and entablature with wreaths in frieze.
Above this, a wide parapet breaks forward to form balcony of upstairs window and
holds coat of arms. Low pitched pyramidal slated roof with bracketed eaves soffit;
side wings have guilloche moulded pierced parapet.
Tall square gate piers with entablature and spike finial. Quadrant curved side
walls to outer piers, and short flanking walls, of coursed freestone with ashlar
dressings. Light wrought iron central gates, a double and a single.
