Cottages. Late C16 with C18 and C19 alterations. Timber framed, exposed
to left with colourwashed brick rubble and smooth render infill on
sandstone rubble plinths, galleted, coursed sandstone with brick dressings
to right hand cottage. Plain tiled roof, half hipped to right. Two
storeys with offset end stack to left and ridge stack to centre, further
end stack to right. Irregular leaded casement fenestration of three
windows to left hand cottage on first floor and four windows below. Two
windows to first floor of right hand cottage and three windows below and
cambered head relieving arches with gauged bricks. Planked door to left
of centre on cottage to left up a flight of four sandstone steps (No. 2).
Blocked Tudor arched moulded door to centre at junction of two cottages.
Further door (No. 1) to right hand return front.
