6/53 Pear Tree Cottage

II

House. C17, extended to right in C20. Timber framed, underbuilt in red and
blue brick with brick cladding above. Thin frame to first floor right with
brick infilling. Plain tiled roof, half-hipped to right. Two storeys with
massive corbelled stacks to rear left of centre and rear right of centre.
Five diamond-pane windows to first floor, five windows below. Open bay to
right end of ground floor with main posts braced to form 4-centred arches.
Gabled porch to left with plank door. Pentice roof to left running into single
storey extension with further porch and two windows.
