Rushton Hall School

A Grade I Listed Building in Rushton, North Northamptonshire

Rushton Hall Hotel

Uploader's Comments

East front screen has a broad central entrance, a round-headed doorway with double studded doors. The modern inner glass door carries the crest of the Rushton Hall Hotel in gold. The classical entablature and Gothic style balustrade of quatrefoils alternating with tiny trefoil-headed lights was built before 1741. The reclining figure has a cornucopia (horn of plenty) and a dolphin. (Photo Jul 2012).
