House, now flats. Late C18 with C19 alterations. Roughly
coursed sandstone rubble (presumably once rendered) with
ashlar dressings and chamfered quoins. Slate roof with a gable
chimney stack to the right and an axial stack to the left.
Double-depth plan. 3 storeys above a cellar. 3 bays, the 2 on
the left being normally spaced, while the right-hand upper
windows are centrally placed in the rest of the wall above the
pier between the doorway and the right-hand ground-floor
window. All the windows have moulded architraves, but plain
sills, and are sashed without glazing bars. The doorway has a
moulded architrave and a cornice carried on fluted consoles.
It has a door with 9 raised panels with fluted borders under
an overlight with late C19 stained glass. Timber modillion
eaves cornice.
