Cottage. Late C18. Roughly coursed sandstone rubble
(presumably once rendered) with ashlar dressings. Stone slate
roof. No chimney caps, any flues presumably entering the
stacks of the taller adjoining houses. Double-depth plan. 2
low storeys above a cellar, and 2 bays with, in the left-hand
bay, coupled doorways with plain stone surrounds, leading on
the left to the yard and on the right into the house. All the
windows are 12-pane sashes in plain stone surrounds enlarged
by raising their lintels, and the doors have 6 raised and
fielded panels. Rear and interior not inspected. Listed for
group value.
