2 houses, now an hotel, and attached boundary wall. Early C19,
with C20 alterations. Brick with stone dressings and slate
roof. Coped parapet and gables, 2 central ridge stacks.
Windows are glazing bar sashes with multi keystoned lintels.
Double range plan. 3 storeys plus basement; 6 window range
arranged 1:2:2:1. The central 4 windows project and have
shaped wrought iron balconies. Abpve, 6 similar windows.
Below, 4 similar windows flanked by moulded segment headed
stone doorcases with overlights and steps with twisted cast
iron balustrades. Glazed door to left, close boarded door to
right, both C20. To left, attached boundary wall with ramped
brick coping.
