GV II

House. Early C19, with some C20 refenestration. Timber frame
plastered, grey gault brick, slate roof, red brick stack. Plan
rectangular. 2 storeys. Front E elevation: 4 first floor
window range, all have stucco voussoirs, sashes with glazing
bars, three 4x4 panes, one, to S, 3x4 panes. Ground floor,
N-S, window similar to first floor, early C20 shop window and
door with integral fascia board, 2 panes, door fully glazed.
Early C19 doorway simple cornice hood, reeded jambs,
fret-decorated overlight, door of 6 panels, upper 2 glazed,
lower flush bead moulded. Rear W elevation: first floor
timber-framed and plastered, 2 windows, one with moulded
architrave, sash 4x4 panes, other C20 3-light casement with
simple transom. Ground floor brick with broad segment headed
window, tripartite sash with glazing bars, 2x4, 4x4, 2x4 panes
but upper central sash now single pane. N end elevation:
ground floor, segment headed doorway with 4-panelled door,
first floor, single-light casement window.
