GV II

Banked cider house. C18. Killas rubble with timber lintels;
half-hipped corrugated iron roof; remains of stack at rear
right. Rectangular plan built into bank at rear and on right.
2 storeys; 2-window range with extra bay set back on right.
Probably early or mid C19 windows with vertical glazing bars
and random panes except for 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash of
similar date to 1st-floor right; old ledged door. INTERIOR:
not inspected but retains old collar trusses and heavy beam to
ground-floor ceiling, over granite base of cider press, the
remainder of which is exhibited in the Helston Museum (qv).
