Shop with rear hall range. Mid C16 and altered. Plastered
timber frame. Roof of pantiles, black glazed to front. 2
storeys. C20 shop front to ground floor with a timber-framed
passage to right leading to rear. Two 3-light late C18
casements to first floor. Gabled roof. Hall range in cross
wing to rear, also 2 storeys. Brick underbuilt jetty lit
through a late C18 sash with glazing bars to right and a C20
casement to left. First floor with studs exposed. Two C20
casements. Attached external stack to north-east corner.
Gabled roof with ridge stack set left of centre. Room over
passageway. INTERIOR. Ground floor front with boxed bridging
beams. Ground floor rear with roll-moulded bridging beams.
Moulded handrail and turned balusters to staircase. First
floor with chamfered tongue-stopped bridging beams. Jowled
principal studs.
