2 shops with flats. Mid C17 and later. Rendered and
colourwashed timber frame. Roof of black glazed corrugated
tiles. 2 storeys. 2 mid-C19 plate-glass shop fronts with
4-centred heads to stiles. Doorway into 2 to left of display
window, that to 4 in centre of double front. Between shops is
a half-glazed door formerly leading to chambers above. Jettied
first floor with 2 mid C18 sashes with glazing bars.
Bell-based gabled roof with external gable-end stack to east.
Rear cross wing in brick, or a brick skin. 2 storeys. Red
pantile roof. INTERIOR. Chamfered bridging beams with tongue
stops. Various boxed bridging beams. First floors not
accessible, but likely to be of more interest.
