Freman monument in churchyard of
Church of All Saints

GV II

Rectangular railed enclosure 3m x 3.50m, 6m west of church.
Stone base with spear topped railings. Within, three C18
Portland stone tombs of similar form, plain slightly coped
slabs. Headstones similar with central shouldered semicircle
and side scrolls. Below, semi draped figure leaning on urn,
foliage either side. Central headstone approx 1.6m high, side
ones lower approx 1.25m high. Inscriptions now virtually
illegible but Freman can be read on the headstone to the N.
The Freman monument, Church of All Saints (qv) and stabling
(qv) form a group.
