House, now offices. c1797, with C20 alterations. Brick with
painted basement and painted ashlar dressings, and slate
mansard roof with a rendered gable stack. Plinth, ground floor
and first-floor sill bands, slab-coped parapet. Windows have
brick flat arches. 3 storeys plus basement and attics;
3-window range of 15-pane sashes and above, three 9-pane
sashes. Above again, a segment-headed dormer with a
single-pane window. Ground floor has to right a wooden
doorcase with Ionic 3/4 columns and dentillated cornice and
paediment. Round arched doorway with steps to fielded 6-panel
door with blank fanlight. To left, two 12-pane sashes and
below them, 2 boarded-up basement openings with brick flat
arches.
