House, now offices. c1797, with mid C19 alterations. Brick
with painted ashlar dressings and slate roof with a gable
stack. Plinth, ground floor and first-floor sill bands,
slab-coped parapet. Windows have brick flat arches. 3 storeys
plus basement and attics; 3-window range of 15-pane sashes and
above, three 9-pane sashes. Above again, a box dormer with a
6-pane sash. Ground floor has to right a wooden doorcase with
Ionic 3/4 columns and dentillated cornice and pediment. Round
arched doorway with steps to fielded 6-panel door and
fanlight. To left, 2 plain sashes. Below them a blocked
opening and a board door to the basement, both with brick flat
arches.
