LOWGATE (East side),
War Memorial 10 metres south of Church of St Mary



War memorial in form of Calvary cross completed 1921, designed by Leslie Moore. Ashlar. Tapered broached octagonal shaft topped with a crucifix and supporters under a gable. Moulded octagonal plinth and square base of four steps.
