Public house. Probably C18 in origin rebuilt early C19
extended late C19. Scored stucco, graduated slate roof. 2
storeys; elongated range with 3 windows to 1st floor on left
of twin-gabled front wing. Porch in angle with wing has
6-panel door in left side and C20 casement to front; hipped
roof. Later porch against left return. Windows to main range
on left have painted, dressed-stone surrounds; two 6-pane
sashes to ground floor and two 12-pane sashes over. Smaller
12-pane sash above porch with projecting stone sill only.
Front wing: 4-pane sash under cambered arch to ground-floor
right; short left return has 6-pane sash below 12-pane sash.
End stacks to each gable of wing and to left of main range; 3
ridge stacks to main range.
