Symmetrical pair of houses, No 8 now office and meeting house.
c1840. Stucco and hipped fish-scale slate roof with stucco
stacks. 2 storeys; 6-window range, ends break forward. 1st
floor sill course and wide eaves. Windows have 12-pane horned
sashes; ends have canted bay windows with 3 sashes, cornices
and blocking courses. 5 stacks with flat caps. Left return has
entrance to recessed centre with porch, angle pilasters,
panelled frieze and consoled cornice with strapwork cresting;
right return similar, with canted bay window to rear wing.
