GV II

Terrace of 8 houses. 1850-60. Limestone ashlar, roof not
visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. Each of 4
storeys and basement; 1-window range. A stepped terrace has
pilaster strips to a frieze, cornice and parapet, and a banded
ground floor to a plat. Right-hand doorways, left-hand to
No.24, have console cornices, plate-glass overlights and
2-panel doors. Recessed surrounds to ground-floor windows,
architraves and console cornices to the first floor, recessed
surrounds to the second and third floors, to 6/6-pane sashes.
No.31 has a 2-storey porch set back on the end, with a
right-hand semicircular-arched doorway, and a timber
tripartite ground-floor window. INTERIOR not inspected.
