Attached office. c1908. By H Dare Bryan or RH Drake. Limestone
ashlar, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Edwardian Baroque
style. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. A symmetrical
front has broad pilasters to a first-floor full-width
entablature, open pediment and parapet. Plain ground floor has
outer C20 plate-glass sashes with raised aprons and lintels,
to a central doorway with raised jambs and splayed reveals,
and glazed double C20 doors. The first floor is divided into 3
sections by Ionic pilasters, to paired 15-pane middle windows,
and outer 10-pane ones, a moulded lintel and panels above with
festoon. A moulded string links the capitals, with an attic
2-light lunette with raised voussoirs and a large split key to
the top of the pediment. INTERIOR: rebuilt behind the facade
1974 and incorporated into a single building with No.29 (qv).
