Attached house, now pair of shops. c1820. Limestone ashlar with party wall stacks and pantile mansard roof. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Formerly one house with a cornice and parapet, now divided 2:1, No.7 with a C19 shop front with left-hand 2-panel door and panelled jambs, and plate-glass windows with a central shop door, No.9 with a late C20 shop front. First-floor horned plate-glass sashes, tall 6/6-pane second-floor sashes, and 2 dormers to No.7. INTERIOR not inspected.
