Pair of attached houses. Late C18. Render with limestone
dressings, ridge stacks and pantile double-pile mansard roof.
Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. Each of 2 storeys,
basement and attic; 2-window range. Moulded parapet coping and
coped end gables and party wall; left-hand doors have brackets
to pediments and semicircular doorways with C19 two-panel
doors; No.22A has a wide ashlar full-height canted bay and a
small dormer, No.22 has a tripartite ground-floor window and
two C20 roof lights, both have 6/6-pane sashes. Grilles to
basements. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES:
wrought-iron fleur-de-lys front area railings to No.22.
