LUDFORD

SO57SW Barn approx. 40m to S of Steventon
825-1/3/51 Manor

GV II

House, extended and converted to barn. C17, 18 and 19. Stone
rubble; brick; plain tile roof. C17 house with C18 wing to
right and C19 barn bay to left. 2-storeys; scattered
fenestration, loft doors and doors, with C17 and C18 windows
having splayed moulded oak frames and central mullions; gauged
brick arch to ground floor right, with string course over.
INTERIOR: fireplace in partition wall to left; ogee-stop
chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor; stop chamfered
ceiling beams to 1st floor right; collared trusses, with
earlier queen-strut truss visible in brick partition wall.
