Shop with accommodation above. Early C19. Solid, rendered
front wall. Slated roof with red ridge tiles. Red brick
chimney with partial slate hanging on right-end wall. 3
storeys with garret. 4-window front. Dominant late C19
shopfront in ground storey, overlapping the bottoms of the
second storey windows. Shopfront has flanking wooden pilasters
with tall bracketed blocks at the top, these forming the stops
to an entablature and blindcase. Large display windows
separated by slender shafts, the openings to shop and house
doors with ornate iron brackets. Entrance to recessed house
door (a late 20 wood replacement) has shallow display windows
on right-hand side. Upper storey windows have 6 or 8-paned
sashes, except for the left-hand second storey window, which
has 2-paned sashes. The lower sashes of the other second
storey windows have only 1 row of panes each. 3 dormers with
cambered heads and 2-paned sashes. INTERIOR not inspected.
