Shop with accommodation over. Early C19. Rendered, solid front
wall. Tarred, slated roof. Red brick chimney on left gable
wall. 3 storeys, with garret. Plain, 2-window front. Late C20
shopfront in ground storey. Upper storey windows have 6-paned
sashes, except for blind window to right of third storey.
Lightly moulded board below the eaves. Dormer with slightly
curved top; 6-paned sashes at front, the sides also glazed
with 4 lights each. Rendered rear wall (visible from side
alley to right) has good canted bay window of wood in second
storey, and sash window with 1 upright glazing bar per sash in
third storey. The rear section of the left-hand side wall
(visible from side alley to left) is slate hung. INTERIOR not
inspected. The house forms one end of a listed group including
Nos 51 & 52 High Street (qv).
