Pair of houses in row. Early C19. Rendered, slate roof. Three
storeys and attic, 2-windowed. No 195: small flat-roofed
4-pane sash dormer above 12-pane sash at second floor and
16-pane at first floor; square bay incorporating C19 shop
front with flat roof over multi-pane fixed casement to stall
riser. Left is 6-pane flush, part glazed C19 door. Includes a
rare surviving early C19 shop front. Rendered stack to right.
No 197 has mid C20 dormer, windows and door. Rendered stack to
left. Part of a significant surviving row.
