Bank, now building society. c1880. Brick with freestone dressings, dry Delabole slate roof; brick stack on left. Single depth plan. Gothic style details. 3 storeys; regular 3-window front. Doorway with stilted pointed-arched head, on the right, and tripartite sash under stilted segmental arch both springing from a moulded string; sill-level plinth, hollow chamfered jambs and traceried tympanum with cinquefoil rose over original 4-panel door with latticed glazing. 1st floor has squat 2-centred arches; 2nd floor has flat-headed window openings, all with stopped hollow chamfers and with original 4-pane hornless sashes. Heavy moulded eaves cornice.
