GV II
Chest tomb. 1848. Sandstone. A lofty tomb with flat pyramidal capping on ledger with moulded edges, raised inscription panels, and inset ends to cornice and base moulds, all on cyma-mould base and platform, formerly railed. The N side inscription includes SAMUEL, son of Samuel and Mary HEALING, d.1848, aged 19, and Mary HEALING, d.1862. Various later inscriptions, including date as late as 1916. The panel to the E is very badly weathered. The Healing family were important industrialists in the C19, and Healings Mill is still a major employer in Tewkesbury.
