Town house. Late C18. Red brick front laid to Flemish bond,
granite plinth and quoins, otherwise rubble; dry Delabole
slate hipped roof with projecting eaves and brick end stacks.
L-shaped plan with 2 rooms flanking a central entrance hall at
the front and short wing behind right-hand side. 3 storeys;
symmetrical 3-window front. Central doorway with moulded
architrave to wooden doorcase with flat hood on consoles,
6-panel door. Blind openings above doorway, otherwise early
C19 hornless sashes with narrower margin panes under shallow
segmental arches and modillioned eaves cornice. INTERIOR: not
inspected but said to retain many original features. An
unusual example of an exposed brick facade in the city.
