Pair of shops, formerly with accommodation over, the upper
floors now storage. Early C19, with late C19 alterations.
Brick with Welsh slate roof. 2-storeyed, 3-window range. No.43
has late C19 shop front with an earlier doorway surviving
alongside to the left: doorcase with shallow pediment, and
enriched with swagged frieze and festoons. Two 12-pane sash
windows above. Delicately moulded stone eaves cornice
continues across No.45. No.45 extensively rebuilt, with
inserted shop front and 12-pane sash window above.
