Town house, now shop. c.1830-50, altered. Red brick in Flemish
bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Three-storey
3-window facade, with quoins to left corner, plain frieze and
moulded cornice. Ground floor entirely altered by insertion of
modern shop front; sashed windows without glazing bars on both
upper floors, those at 2nd floor lower, all with raised sills
and those at 2nd floor with wedge lintels. Rear and INTERIOR
not inspected. One of the few former domestic buildings
suviving in this street. Contrasts with No.96 to right (q.v.).
