House, now houses. Early to mid C19. Ashlar; hipped twin span
Welsh slate roof; 2 brick ridge stacks, with banding.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar; 4-window range: 3, late C19,
2/2 sashes under hood-mouldings, and to left, late C19 canted
2-tier bay with 1/1: 2/2: 1/1 sashes, under hood-moulding;
parapet with castellation. Entrance to centre right: 6
fielded-panel door and Gothick overlight; to right, 2, late
C19, 2/2 sashes; to left, bay; all under hood-mouldings. Right
returned side: coursed rubble with brick modillion eaves.
Rear: painted brick with brick modillion eaves; four late C19,
2/2 sashes and late C19 plain sash; 4-panel door and overlight
with glazing bars, flanked by 6/6 sash and (to right) 10/5
sash, all under brick segmental arches.
INTERIOR: early to mid C19 dogleg staircase with turned newel,
stick balusters and swan neck rail. 1st floor: 5, 4-panel
doors, with architraves. Ground floor: late C19. 6-panel door;
6-panel door with architrave; ceiling rose and coving; alcoves
and cupboards; 6-panel door; 2 plank doors; 4-panel door to
cellar. Cellar: stone-lined; flagstone floor. The 2 right-hand
windows to rear, belong to a flying freehold of Lugg View.
